"Toured July 16th - 30th 2022 We turned up for this tour to discover that the itinerary had changed from what we had paid for. Firstly there was not one vehicle with North West Safari on it or a trailer holding tents etc. We were then informed that we wouldn't be camping, no reason given. One of the guides had never done this trip before and another was doing it whilst on holiday from her job as a ranger. On the first day we drove over 700klms to our first stop, Moreton Telegraph Station. We did not stop at Quinlan rock art, told by Ian it was to expensive, or stay at the cattle station. The itinerary said that dinner would be supplied by the tour company at Archer Roadhouse. When we had nearly finished the meal Ian the tour guide in charge told us to get our credit cards out we were paying for the meal and then just walked off. Cost my wife and I $80 which we hadn't planned into our budget. At Moreton Telegraph St all meals supplied were fast food. No cearel, when I asked where it was I was ignored,no nibbles or meals cooked out in the bush as per the itinerary. On one of the days ham sandwiches were supplied, one of the ladies didn't eat pork and had put that down as a dietary requirement. She was told to just take the ham out so went with out lunch. We arrived in Seisia to be put into run down accommodation, some people had to be moved because they had no hot water. The trip to Roko Island was a waste of time. There was nothing at all on Pearl farming. We just sat around all day twiddling our thumbs waiting whilst those who could afford it went on helicopter rides. At least the meal was enjoyable. The tour on Thursday and Horn Is were great. The tour guide was a local with lots of knowledge and a good sense of humour. On the 6th I was taken to hospital and so missed the rest of the tour. I didn't know whether to be happy or sad. My wife and I saved up out of our pension for this trip to only be completely ripped off. I suggest you be very careful of this tour company because lawyers have made sure in the small print that if you don't get what you paid for, tough. There was no communication from the owner of this tour at any time to explain why the tour had changed. It seemed as if for some reason the tour was changed and put together at the last minute."

"Recently travelled with North West Outback Safaris, 15 day Cape York tour, great experience n fun trip. The ease of booking platform, all vehicles and equipment in great condition, clean and comfortable, local knowledgeable guides, small and personal groups but most importantly an ability to visit remote places and locations other operators cannot get to. Lots of experiences, good food and laughs. Thanks Cathy, Michelle, Ian, Terry & Col for a great trip, definitely recommend to all."
