"Don't be caught out! Check your freight! As the director of a large manufacturing company we have used this company to transport our products on a regular basis over the last thirty years. However a recent experience has seen us remove them from our approved transport list. We discovered we had been overcharged for a consignment. Upon notification to the offices we were informed we would not be receiving a credit for the overcharges as we should have measured and weighed the delivery on its arrival. To stop this from happening to anyone else, I urge all Mainfreight customers to carry out full weight and measurement checks upon arrival. Do not allow the driver to continue on his deliveries until both parties are in agreement."
