"Hospital arranged for temporary emergency accommodation here at special rate. When we arrived front desk guy said no special rate, pretty unhelpful. Went down the road got decent room for week for $100's cheaper."
"Booked online through their own website, and rang to confirm the booking and payment went through. Arrived to find room not ready and we could only stay if we cleaned it ourselves. We were desperate for somewhere to stay so we agreed to do that if the room rate was halved. We won't be back."

"Booked through the Coolabah Website and paid for a room. Upon arrival was told that it was a booking.com booking and they had no record. Showed the owner the booking and proved it was through the motels webpage. The owner was extremely rude and said he didn't care and they did not have a room, refused to refund on credit card. Townsville was booked out due to a Cowboys game and we had to return home that day to Cairns after driving down that morning for a soccer event for the kids. I have never come across a situation like this before and could not recommend this motel to anyone. What I would like to type would probably be removed by google so I'm trying to keep emotions out of this review."
