"Do not use MSR!!! Had a repair with the wishart branch. After having the car 7 weeks for front and rear bumper replacement it was “ready” for collection after refusing the repair 2 times prior due to very very poor workmanship. (No bumper replacement, just fill the holes). I’m currently In the middle of negotiating a warranty claim on said repairs now. All that being said, this is a different shop, so should be different. Right? Damaged canopy from hit and run. Taken in for assessment. Next thing I get a phone call saying there is a 7 week wait for replacement canopy once ordered. Then a text saying my car is booked in for the repair in 5 weeks. I then get to thinking that I’d rather have the canopy repaired rather than replaced as it’s a lot of work for me to dismantle my racks and shelving, so I call the insurance company and say I’d like to get other options. They said all good as long as MSR haven’t ordered the parts. You’re all good to do that. So I’m straight on the phone to MSR. That’s fine they say, the canopy hasn’t been ordered yet. (So it takes 7weeks to come in and we’re at the 5 week mark till deadline and it’s not ordered yet?) I say, hold off I’ll call next day to confirm. I ring around for repair but don’t have too much luck as the fiber glass repairers say the insurance won’t cover the repair as it will be too expensive. So I call back the next day and give the go ahead to proceed with the replacement. Forward to today, I give them a call to confirm the booking is still as messaged as the timeframe may have changed due to the 1 day holdup. Yes, bring the car in they say looking at my Rego on file. I reiterated the previous story and asked the lady to please double check. She comes back and says the assessor said that the client was ordering the canopy and if he wants us to do it it will be another 7 weeks!!!!!!! I said don’t bother. I have contacted the insurer and informed there will be no further communication with MSR underwood. If I am organizing the canopy replacement, what do I need the clowns at MSR for? It literally bolts onto the car. No confidence should be given to this circus and RACQ and SUNCORP would be wise to drop them."
"Wish I could give 0 stars. Took over 6 weeks just to get in then another month for repairs. Get my car back looked ok. However, they had driven my car into something and cracked the front bumper and grill. Then they gave it back to me damaged. Since then I have been trying to get them to fix the damage they caused it has been about 5 weeks, I call them twice a week. They never know what is happening. At this stage I have gone there about 4 times and still my car is not fixed because of various reasons. Front desk are useless, one of the ladies can't even speak english properly. Currently I am approaching the ombudsman as this is absolutely ridiculous. If you can, AVOID THEM and save yourself some stress."
"These people are a comedy of errors and an absolute joke. Little simple things are overlooked everything is broken even though my car was working perfectly before i gave it to them for 5 months. RACQ needs to find better repairers and be more credible. It is totally heartbreaking to see my car that is no longer in its former glory. Beware!!!!!"
"Deserves 1 star: Vehicle went in with damage to the left side of the vehicle, That was done well. Other than that. -Overspray over the rear taillight -Fues box cover in the engine bay (all clips broken besides 1) -Passenger seat rail over (bent & pulled like no tomorrow) - stress marks are clear to see -battery cover behind the passenger seat (returned with a hole in it) -Passenger door was replaced (incorrect Actuator so the plug does not fit - Passenger door central locking does not work) -Prongs on the actuator 1 broken out of 6 & the plug as 10 ports. -Damage to driver side door handle -Air bags were replaced (Airbag indicator on the dash stays on - (Codes weren’t re-written or Wiped) -Radiator (no coolant) -Fuel drained (returned empty) One week before in went in for repairs the vehicle had a Full servic, fluids, brakes, rotors machined etc. Communication nonexistent. Delays with no updates. Dates were promised but pushed back because a part wasn’t ordered or extra things are needed which weren’t in the area of damage, once again with no update. Waited 4, almost 5 months for the vehicle. Extremely Happy with the panel repairs but everything els listed above let it down. Communication is the Main Issue. Personally I wouldn’t return as I’m left now with a list of things to replace & do not plan on waiting as I’ve waited long enough for the panel repairs & uncertain how long they would take if I were to return based from what I have discovered from this experience Would not recommend this repair company to anyone honestly."
"They do jobs properly. However, it takes bit long time. They are so busy. (7th of Mar) "Please disregard my review from a week ago, as I have a different story. Over a period of two months, I received my car on March 7th and made a separate appointment with a tire store to replace the tires on that date. I know that car insurance does not cover tire replacement, so I made this appointment separately. After the tire replacement, the owner of the auto shop told me that the condition of the right rear tire is (backward?) and there is a still problem with streeing rack. After driving away, I felt that the steering wheel was strange. MSR Collision told me they had checked the wheel alignment by Suspension Specialists. That day, I parked the car late and went out to eat, but I heard a strange noise coming from the front wheel. The next day, I went to my regular auto repair shop and they found a problem with the right front drive shaft and replaced it. The owner of that repair shop also said that there is a problem with the front alignment and suggested that go back to previous mechanic which is MSR collison. I did not want to go back their because, I do not want to want to wait for the car another months. So, he recommended me to go to Bobjane or ozzytire. Today, I went to Bobjane tyre to align the wheels and balance them, they said that the suspension specialist did not fix the car properly, the steering rack is uneven and there is (backward?) with the right rear rim. I don't think MSR Collision is bad. However, I am suspicious of the car repair shops they send the car to. I don't know if the problem is with RACQ or the trusted car repair shop of MSR Collision."
