"We Bought Besan Barfi but it was very Tasteless like expired or like mix powder or anything.we taste only one piece but seriously it was so so worst nd throw it bin all. please don’t sell sweets. We would definitely not recommended anyone going to this shop.."
"I bought lentils from MC's in Slacks Creek ; it had infestation! When I called to complain, the old lady, who was the shop owner denied the claim and hung up on me! I drove to the shop, removed the lentils from the plastic in front of her and showed her the faulty product. She still would NOT accept the short coming and said it was the products skin! I picked up a insect and showed the other customer it was moving and had legs!! Later, the shop owner lady commented that just for one insect I was creating a drama. I asked her - how can I feed this to my kids?! She also said "Don't embarass me in front of the customers"! I was quite taken aback when she mentioned that I was ONLY 10 minutes drive away and creating a fuss for an infestation issue! She doesn't understand that we are also busy and occupied and for her information, I had to spend almost 20 minutes each way to and from her shop to sort out this issue She was insensitive and doesn't care about the travelling, fuel and my time. She had anwers for all the questions that I was putting to her in terms of the product fault. Her daughter in law commented that I shouldn't speak to her mother in law in a high voice instead show respect to her. Why shouldn't I; she is just a shop keeper to me. The old lady needed somebody like me to go to her and tell her - that I am right as a customer. Please accept that you guys are at fault and if it was not; why would you refund me $10 so quickly to let me out of your shop. I suggest not to deal or waste you breath with this Fiji Indians shopkeepers'. I thought this would be an eye-opener for them but it sounds like they don't care and only good at generating stories to protect their own business interest(s). It is best to avoid dealing with a business owner like MC's to avoid being lied to and wasting your time and breath on lodging complaints on product fault(s). THEY DON'T CARE!!!"
"I love this place, I love cooking Indian and everything is here that you need. There's heaps of stuff I have no idea what they are but I love checking them out. Best of all is the sweet mango chutney. Love it"
"I bought 2 Amigo juice boxes that were on special at their shop took them home not knowing they expired last month until I glanced at the expiry date. Still waiting for my refund from them. Never going there again customer service is bad not really a welcoming shop and selling expired products on the shelves. Would not recommend going or even buying there."
