Recognizing the urgent need for targeted interventions in addressing domestic and family violence (DFV) offenses among adolescents, ACSO, in collaboration with Access Training, has developed comprehensive programs to tackle this issue head-on.

Recently, leading voices in the criminal justice field gathered in Melbourne to share ideas and discuss solutions. This platform allowed for the exchange of innovative approaches to tackling the complex challenges within the justice system.

One of our key initiatives is mentoring programs aimed at diverting teenagers from harmful behaviors. By providing guidance and support, we empower young individuals to make positive choices and avoid the path of crime.

Since 2020, ACSO has been dedicated to positioning ourselves as changemakers through research, client work, and partnerships. This strategic approach has allowed us to make a significant impact on the lives of those involved in the justice system.

Our CEO had a transformative experience that inspired our commitment to post-release accommodation. In 1982, an assistant prison chaplain challenged him to consider the lack of support for individuals upon their release from jail. This sparked a journey to create halfway houses and support networks, which have since become integral to our mission.
