Dorrington House is proudly run by the Rotary Club of Jimboomba, a dedicated group of Rotarians and their families who have been serving the local district since 1986. As a not-for-profit organization, our main objective is to raise funds and provide financial support for various community needs, both locally and internationally. From humanitarian efforts to youth programs and development projects, we strive to make a positive impact on the world.

Being a part of Rotary International, the world's first and largest service club organization, we are connected to over 1.2 million members in more than 30,000 clubs across 200 countries. In addition to our community service, the Rotary Club of Jimboomba is passionate about preserving the heritage of our region. With three beautifully restored buildings within the Jimboomba Heritage Precinct – the Jimboomba Community & District Hall, Little Brown Church, and Dorrington House – we offer excellent venues for hire. Whether you are planning a private event, a corporate function, or a community gathering, our heritage precinct provides the perfect setting.

Recently, we celebrated our Rotary Changeover dinner, a fantastic evening filled with joy and recognition for our esteemed members, as well as welcoming new ones into our family.

We are proud to have inducted three new members this April, including the District 9640's 500th female member. This milestone highlights our commitment to inclusivity and diversity within our organization.

If you're interested in joining us, we meet every Tuesday evening from 6:30pm to 9:00pm, with a meal included. Everyone is welcome, and we encourage new members to attend and be a part of our vibrant community.
