"I had always wanted to travel to western QLD but the drive was too long and so we search for a guided tour. We were not disappointed. Our tour started when we met our Tour Host at Roma St Station in Brisbane before boarding the Spirit of the Outback. The train, while snug, serving delicious meals, only had one toilet and shower in each carriage. We met our Coach at Barcaldine which we travelled on for the remainder of the tour. The coach was clean and tidy throughout the entire tour thanks to the attention to detail of the Coach Driver, Greg. Our Tour Host, Lyndall, ensured that we were well looked after. Her attention to detail ensured we were greeted at the various stops along the tour, making sure everything was as it should be. The food at the various stops was delicious and varied. Those with dietary requirements (Coeliac) were catered for at every stop. Lyndall checked these, and all other travellers, were catered for. We visited many beautiful locations along the way. Each one had staff that were informative and shared their love of what they did. Some of the place visited were: Save the Bilby, Cruise on the Thomson River, Australian Stockman’s Hall of Frame, QANTAS Museum, WWII US Secret Museum, the Australian Age of Dinosaurs, Camden Park Station, Desery Dreaming Centre, Waltzing Matilda Museum, the COSMOS Centre Big Sky Observatory and the Australian Workers Heritage Centre. The only thing I would suggest is if you want access to your phone throughout the day, make sure you have a Telstra SIM card. Access to free www was available at the accommodation each night. I’m ready to go on another tour with Fun over 50"

Unique experiences enhanced by driver Russell’s extensive knowledge in each area we have been in so far. Tour host Neil and Russell have been looking after us very well. The motels have been comfortable considering the remoteness! Looking forward to the remainder of the tour."
