"My wife & I recently bought a home near Hobart & have been making a few improvements to the house. After speaking with Lesa we met with Brenda at the showroom and despite the fact that Brenda keeps so many beautiful Wool carpets in stock we were able to very quickly pick a Beautiful 100% Wool carpet from Bremworth. Within just a couple of weeks of ordering the carpet I received a call from Lesa who advised us our carpet had arrived and she locked in an install date the following week. We thought the showroom to supply side of the business ran smoothly and efficiently HOWEVER the best was yet to come. On the day of the install two of the most professional tradesmen arrived at our home and set about laying the carpet. Normally I’m nervous having trades in the house as often they are rough and careless but not these guys, the way they carried out their work really impressed me. They were careful whilst moving about the home, they took care of our freshly painted walls and they expertly laid the carpet to perfection. I’m as fussy as it come but these guys did not fail to impress. I strongly recommend Hayes just based on how their layers conducted themselves. Whilst most other Flooring businesses hire subcontractors for the laying process, Hayes actually employs their guys full time. I’m not young and I’ve built several new homes and hands down these guys were the best. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Hayes with this kind of service. "I thought choosing new carpet would be a breeze! After two trips to select samples, clearly i had NO IDEA what would be the best carpet for our apartment. Lesa suggested that Brenda come and bring some samples, measure, and see what she thought would be a good match. Once Brenda had assessed the area of carpet, the colour of our walls, and two different colours of two-packed joinery(kitchen cabinets plus built in lounge joinery) she said she’d return with more samples. One sample i would NEVER have chosen on my own, but it was the one i eventually ordered. The carpets are installed and are glorious. The team at Hayes flooring, Brenda, Lesa and Michael are outstanding. The workmanship is exceptional. My experience is that when you have experts in their trade, TAKE their advice, especially when it comes to carpet. As a dear friend commented, “it’s harder to select a carpet than a husband!” Ps, i don’t have any connection to Hayes Flooring, other than lasting gratitude. Oh, and move out if you can.
