"This Shopping Centre is undergoing a major revamp. Woolworths is one of the few shops still operating. No Cafes are available in the Centre at the moment. However plenty of choice in the main Street ( Terralong), which provides the opportunity to support local small business"
"The entry experience for Woolworths Kiama is far removed from the experience of say, Bunnings, as a comparable Australian chain store. When you arrive at Bunnings you are greeted with the glorious smell of sausage and onion, then met by the smiling face of a Bunnings employee who's sole purpose is to greet customers with a smile. In stark contrast at Woolworths Kiama, you enter an area the size of a loungeroom containing an ever present busker, filling the lungs of shoppers with billows of carcinogenic smoke; if he's not playing loud incoherent music. Upon entry to the store, instead of a kindly hello, a staff member called Tracy with a scowl barks from her checkout "THE ENTRANCE IS DOWN THERE!" in the face of the customer she is serving as well as customers passing her. It seems Tracy, officious to a fault, deems it far more important that customers file into the store in the appropriate manner, than be made welcome."
"My local, nice and close with plenty of space and generally well stocked. Currently the centre is under renovations so some parking spaces have been reduced. Looking forward to seeing how it looks when it reopens"
