"I can't speak highly enough of the food and service we received at Ned's. There were five of us, and each meal was cooked to perfection. I have to say we all thought it was the best steaks we've ever had and each was cooked to our liking. The staff were lovely and really efficient. We will definitely visit again."
"Well, if this isn't the best up and coming restaurant in the local area! James you are doing a fabulous job! (And of course your lovely partner/wife, sorry can't recall her name). We have been three times to dine in now, and each time it just exceeds expectations. The first time my steak was wonderful, and we loved the shared Turkish bread starter, but my friend expected a bigger main for the vegetarian stack and my partner was only so-so with her pasta. This was at opening so we passed it on as comments but left feeling hopeful. Our second visit was just my partner and I, we shared the wings and had a burger each and left feeling so full! The food was all delicious and we knew we'd be return visitors for sure. The business changed over to Ned's Stakehouse recently and we have been once. We shared the triple cream brie and then shared the wagyu steak and chicken fajitas (all pictured), we could not be more impressed! All amazing quality, presented beautifully and tasted fresh and tasty, you can tell its been cooked with care and its obviously local produce being used. We have had 2 great experiences after a few teething issues and think you have found your feet and will do very well. My only 2 tiny requests would be change up the salad on the steak (not chopped up but slices and chunks, maybe a dressing) and to add some cranberry sauce or jam to the brie on the side, it would make that dish 12/10, its already a 10 haha! They are in no way complaints though, just suggestions! We love Ned's!!! See you very soon!"
"The staff here are lovely and accommodating Drinks are ridiculously cheap My friend’s steak sandwich was massive and good Others ordered pasta and liked them The Arancini sauce should really be improved on Only drawback: My steak was unfortunately far too over cooked, the chef is best off using a meat thermometer until they master steaks. (Asked for medium rare on the rare side, received a steak with well done on the outer pieces and medium-well done on the inner pieces). However, the roast vegetables were delicious and the chips were good."
"We visited on 4th September 2022. They had only been open a few days. The restaurant was clean & well staffed. The pricing of the food is very good for what you order. The little note on top of the coffee was a very cute touch & put a smile on my face. It's a family small business & should be supported. Some of the staff were obviously young & new to restaurant employment & we made a couple of points to owners before we left, nothing awful that needs to be repeated here. My only complaint could be I think the salsa on top of our nachos was a little bit of overkill BUT that's my personal preference as I think it took a little away from the presentation. I would recommend if in the area to definitely try this place as the food was good & well priced. The staff were very lovely & accommodated any requests easily."
"Beautiful meal - had the ribs and kangaroo, both were stunning and cooked to perfection! The ribs defeated us so we have them in takeaway box for tomorrow. Will 100% be coming back as the food was delicious and the service was great."
