"We started coming here about 6 weeks ago. We have never had any problems with either the food or the service. The pies and sausage rolls are amazing. Try the wagon wheels! You won't be disappointed. Shout out the Bek and K, who helped us out with all our questions about birthday cakes. We have always had such wonderful friendly service here and honestly we highly recommend this awesome bakery"
"Held off writing a review thinking it might be a once off occurrence but after reading other reviews and having an experience today of a similar calibre, we thought we'd better say something. We bought two apple turnovers a couple of months ago, and to my horror I found a broken fingernail in the bottom of mine. Figured it was a once off 'oops' because you know, sometimes things go astray, but today my husband went in to buy two cupcakes for the kids and the girl serving asked him if he wanted something different because the cupcakes are stale. If they are stale why are they in the cabinet? Seems like others are having a similar experience in regards to overall sloppiness and poor management. Definitely won't be back after today's experience and reading the other reviews."
"Old, stale and mouldy products. Bought a cake and asked if it was fresh, advised 100% it was. That night after singing happy birthday, it was cut open to find Mould all throughout. Returned it and was asked if I wanted a new cake or refund. Only response was wow. No apology. The person did advise she was a new supervisor and will eventually put cards in the cabinet to show if itβs between 1-4 days old. If you have a similar issue make a complaint to the food safety standards, I did. We just need a quality bakery around not this dangerous store."
"Such a shame. Good reviews must be fake or caught them on a good day. Poor customer service - they barely look like they work there, distracted by phones. It was hard to tell who worked there and who was just hanging out. Barely any stock. Sweet treats are badly made. For example, recently bought a slice of lemon meringue. Looked immaculate. However it smelled like lip gloss and stale smell. It tasted the same. Barely any lemon flavour. Very gluey thick curd. I tried to give it the benefit of a second bite and as soon as I brought it near my face, the smell just put me right off. Good location is about all I can say."
"Going on a friend's advice, I decided to try the curry pies out here, and all I can say is wow, they are fantastic. I have never come across a bakery that could almost make the exact same style my grandmother used to make. Gravy was spot on. Not to runny not to thick. Mince had wonderful flavour and the filling was to the crust. The amount of spice used is absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this business, this one of the best pies I have had in a very long time. Prices are very reasonable considering everything at the moment."
