"i love the atmosphere and most of all, i love the food, i guess this was the taste of authentic thai food(?) maybe(?) if im not mistaken. cos the taste is amazing. the dishes i love the most is their coconut rice, yes, its just a rice, but really really tasty, trust me! i will be back again just for the rice. long story short, its recommended!"
"They were rated pretty high on here so I thought it would be a good place to eat. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. When I like a place I’ll recommend it to all my friends and family, given the chance, but if a place isn’t anything special naturally I just won’t mention it. Well, the experience I had here was so bad that I go so far as to warn people not to waste their money and time here! I bought a ginger chicken stir-fry, a jasmine rice, and some fish cakes. - Rice was well cooked but notably a bit too expensive for a small rice compared to other Thai restaurant prices - fish cakes were fine - The ginger chicken stir-fry… tasted like dirt! When we asked the chef what was wrong with the taste he said that sometimes ginger tastes like dirt!(?) I love Thai food and have eaten my fair share of it throughout my life, and ginger is something I cook with all the time. I have never in my life had a ginger stir-fry that tasted like someone rolled the vegetables around in the dirt before cooking them. I was so mortified by this that I looked it up and scoured the internet to find any information that says that ginger sometimes tastes like dirt, and the only thing I could find was that it will taste bad if it’s too old to cook with.. I just can’t believe the chef had the nerve to tell me that the meal I paid for was supposed to taste like dirt!! They didn’t offer us a refund and were quite rude about the whole thing. I was too shocked by the terrible service to do anything. Serious, please just save your money rather than going here. They don’t care about their customers and think they have no taste buds. There are so many better Thai restaurants out there to dine at."
"Best Thai in Brisbane... Fantastic food and atmosphere. Authentic thai flavour which is hard to find in many other places."
"What a lovely welcoming lady, so warm and genuine. Food was delicious we had the fried rice and red curry. We shared dishes and had more than enough. Food was lovely and hot. Everything was clean and well presented. Before we left was packed but is quite a small dining inside. Too hot to sit outside. No prices on menu and being on government pension we do budget, probably my only query. Would definitely return."
"This place is an unassuming and delightful addition to the string of shops on Commerce Road. They have had these lunch specials for years and are very popular. It’s either $10 or $13. It’s the right amount of food on the plate and very flavoursome. Service is wonderful - fast and efficient. Full restaurant, and not one order was incorrect. Throughly recommend and would continue to support."
