"Our experiences with Torquay and Surfcoast Vets have always been so positive, and the staff are always very welcoming, caring, and kind. In fact, our vet Alice has gone above and beyond for us, by standing in the middle of the highway and stopping traffic like a superhero to save my little dog from getting run over when she took off (my fault, no lead!). The genuine care and compassion for the animals is obvious with all staff, and we always feel welcomed and informed when we visit. I love that we get photo updates if we have to leave our dog for a procedure. Compared to other vets the prices are very competitive too, which is always a bonus. I would highly recommend these guys and we will always keep coming back."
"Incredible services & staff. Super-friendly, compassionate & very helpful with advice on alternative options when personal budget restricts certain pricey procedures. Extra bonus points for sending us a very personalised / detailed / handwritten “condolences” postcard - after their staff had to pay a visit to my home and help me say goodbye to my beloved cat ♥️"
"The staff at this clinic are excellent. The whole group are obviously animal lovers and also well trained. Nothing is too hard to make it a pleasant visit. The clinic is clean, which not all vets are, they obviously look after the place. The office staff are always relaxed and happy. Even with a dying cat the staff are wonderful and I leave knowing I'm doing the right thing. For my dog they have cleaned her teeth and been very flexible with times etc. my dog also gets a regular allergy injection and they are all so lovely with her. It's a warm happy place for animals and their humans. Torquay is lucky to have such a great clinic."
"We had a scare yesterday morning when our dog hadn’t stopped vomiting for 24 hours straight. We hadn’t been to this clinic before, but we called them and they told us to come straight in. Dr Alice Hicks was absolutely brilliant, she did X-rays to check there was nothing sinister going on, then gave us a treatment plan. Our dog is now looking a lot better. Thank you team for looking after him so well ❤️"
"Travelling through in October last year, we booked an appointment for some teeth cleaning and extraction for our extra small dog, explained we were travelling and understood it would likely require anaesthetic and a few hours at the vet. They booked us a consult for the morning and tentatively booked us in for the procedure following that in the case the vets agreed she needed an op. The procedure went well and our little dog was looked after so well, it almost gave me tears, she came out being cuddled in the vet nurses arms who said 'here's your baby'. I think she was treated just as sweetly as a baby would be. She had been cuddling her quite a bit she said, not only because she's a cute dog but also because the nurse thought she needed it. Informed vets who made it quite cost effective and relaxed my concerns about my small dog being put under. Well really she is my childrens dog and i couldnt bare them losing her or myslef losing her to be honest. Lovely, helpful reception staff, inviting reception. Thanks Torquay Vets!"
