As a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, Kristy is committed to providing the highest standard of care. Kristy works with adolescents, adults, and couples, and is registered with Medicare Australia, DVA, and Private Health Funds. She also provides services for organizations such as ADF, Victims of Crime, Comcare, and MAIB. To claim a Medicare rebate for a psychology session, a referral from a GP, psychiatrist, or pediatrician is required, dated before or on the day of your first appointment. Please remember to bring this referral with you to your first session.
Our standard consultation lasts for 50 minutes and costs $225. If you are eligible for a Medicare rebate with a referral, the rebate amount is $136.35, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $88.65.
We understand that convenience is important, which is why we offer telehealth services. You can choose to participate in your therapy session via a secure online video call platform or a phone call. To claim Medicare for a telehealth session, you will need a referral from your GP, psychiatrist, or pediatrician, dated before or on the day of your appointment. DVA, NDIS, Victims of Crime, employee assistance services, and most private health funds also cover telehealth services.
If you are feeling unwell, we encourage you to attend your session via telehealth. Participating in telehealth sessions is simple and user-friendly. If you opt for online telehealth, you will receive an email with a link that you can click on your smart phone, tablet, or computer at your appointment time. If you prefer a phone session, you will receive a call at your appointment time. Payments can be processed at the time of the appointment using a credit card, and the Medicare rebate can be processed accordingly.
