"As a new client I was initially very impressed. There is off-street parking at the rear and a spacious reception/waiting area. The reception staff were very friendly and courteous. The veterinary staff were friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and obviously enjoyed their work. However, I was concerned that my contact number and my pet's name were passed on to a separate service provider. I received an unsolicited call and then an SMS from this provider. I did not ask for this to occur and nor was my permission sought to pass on my private information. During the consultation the value of pet insurance was mentioned and that's perfectly fine but I was concerned that a particular insurer was identified by name. Am I now to expect unsolicited mail, calls, texts and emails from other service providers such as pet stores, insurers and trainers? I will be starting over as a new client at a different practice."
