"Alex Tan is a complete legend and helps with everything!"
"Mechelle is amazing to deal with, is there to give her customers the best experience , treats you that you are the only person she is focusing on and makes sure that all your needs are covered, we have followed her from a few others locations and have to travel that extra distance, but certainly worth our effort, I great ambassador for Flight Centre Ann and Michael Krause Lindisfarne Tas"
"Absolutely OUTSTANDING SERVICE from Travel Agent CATRINA JOHNSON at KINGSTON FLIGHT CENTRE LONDON - I will now be booking (and you should too) most of my flights through her going forward (as she is an absolute star & went beyond the 'call of duty' to help me when I missed my International 32+ hour, 3 leg flight, due to a huge traffic jam). I cannot recommend her enough - even the Flight Centre's 24-hour help-line was impressed with how helpful she was ‘out of hours’ on a Friday night AFTER finishing work, trying to help me get on a new flight & limit my damage cost-wise for missing my flight Downunder. When flying long-haul ATM I highly recommend booking through a travel agent as there is so much demand with far fewer flights than pre-pandemic. Planes are now often fully booked, so if something goes wrong it could cost a fortune IF you can get on another flight. SO WHY IS SHE A STAR? I was booked to fly out at 8.30pm on a Friday night to Australia/NZ via Dubai on Emirates airlines but during the day, there had been huge traffic jams due to extinction rebellion protests, etc. A return car journey for an appointment across London that usually took 90mins ended up taking almost 6 hours due to protests (a protest shutting motorways I was told). Usually, I would have had plenty of time but on the train to the airport, I rang the airline in shock suspecting I wouldn't make it & they said I was likely to miss the check-in by 30mins (it was closing in 5mins when I called). I was pretty distraught as not used to this happening! Luckily Catrina had recommended for me an economy flexible ticket (she had explained all the various tickets & the best ones for me and I chose that one (advice/something you don't get when booking online)). The airline said if I could get to Heathrow from Gatwick I could maybe get a later flight that night if I could get the booking changed but the transit was a push. I called the 24-hour Flight Centre hotline on the train to try and change tickets (couldn't go underground as the phone line would cut off) & got put on hold for an hour so it looked impossible. I also emailed my agent Catrina Johnson (I was mortified) to let her know what had happened, expecting a response on Monday morning 3 days later when her Kingston Flight Centre office reopened. BUT GUESS WHAT – She read my email & responded straight back on a Friday night (8.30pmish) whilst at home & said 'call me now' but she called me as I was on hold with Flight Centre for over 45mins & didn’t want to hang up. She immediately calmed & kindly reassured me & started discussing rebooking issues to limit cost damage and get me home ASAP. By the time I got off the train I'd paid for the ticket change only costing an extra £250 approx in total, vs £3-4K for a whole new ticket. Rebooking speed was critical here. Flights are 3-4 X more expensive post-pandemic as Aust/NZ etc. were shut for almost 2 years so the demand now is HUGE. Catrina got me on a flight just 2 days later with far better seats + for a 30+ hour journey home that is huge. Key Takeaways for me: - Fly Fabulous Emirates (huge planes, many flights, a flexible rebooking/missed flight policy when the worst sometimes happens!) - Take the train where possible to the airport at all times. - Book through an agent –a few extra hundred pounds on med/long-haul can save thousands of £££, get better seats with double the luggage allowance (35kg for Christmas on economy plus = lifesaver+amazing). Saving a few hundred through Skyscanner etc isn't worth it for longer flights as so much is going wrong with flying ATM post-pandemic (protests, strikes, weather issues, etc.) - Travel Agents have airline hotline business phone access when changes need to be made urgently – alternatively, prepare to wait hours if not days for help maybe costing you £ thousands. Forever grateful to Catrina Johnson Travel Agent @ Kingston Flight Centre! She has my future business – I recommend you call her! Happy flying & Merry Christmas 2022 – I hope you make it home. Best, Sarah Rawstron"
"We has a disappointing level of service from another person (at a different store). MIKAYLA and CARLA saved our trip to the USA. I cannot thank them enough. They are angels in disguise. Please, don't go anywhere else"
"I recently called Flightcentre (What I thought was a callcentre) and got service from someone who I assume must of been new. She was short and not overly helpful. I then called back and got a lady named Julia (Email says she is from this store). Julia has been great, not only did she fix up a couple things for me she went above and beyond dealing with an airline on my behalf. As these are credits I'm sure she isn't making any commission off them, I assume she just holds her professionalism in high regards. My next overseas trip I will definitely be trying to use Julia (Even though I live in QLD). Thanks for your help Julia. Sterling"
