Reviews
"Great food friendly(but not off leash) park on the beach. It has clean toilets, several under cover eating areas,a fabulous children's playground and plenty of parking. It's also on the Great South Walk from Sydney to Gerringong."
"Winter is probably not the best time to go for a picnic BBQ as it is so windy. But the place is a ideal place for family and kids, with plenty of untamed parking, next to the beach with toilet and BBQ facilities not to mention a kids playground and entry of green grass for the kids to run around or play on the beach. Will definitely come back in summer when the weather is a bit hotter"
"The kids LOVED it and you can sit in one area and be able to see multiple kids. Fantastic playground, beach close by, walking tracks, big grass area for ball games. I mean I don't even know if there is room for complains. I was there on a cold day and it was great I can image it would be popular spot on a warm summer day. Ohhh the only thing is not much food in walking distance. But you can find great place in 5 to 10min drive"
"If you compare this beach with its counterparts within the same vicinity, it still needs some good improvements. From general facilities of showers to the dedicated areas of BBQ, this needs some good work. It also has some limited parking so not a wise idea to reach late. The other side (not the one adjacent to the parking) of the beach is quite clean and managed well so I would recommend you to stay there."
"Really nice beach with lots of seats and space for picnics. There is a pretty big playground with lots of play equipment for ages up to 14. The beach has a rock pool as well as a normal pool but both pools have seawater. Beach is approximately 4.5 km long. Good beach for surfing and bodyboarding, for swimming you have to be experienced because the waves are pretty large and usually lots of rips."
