Welcome to Blink Dance Theatre, a small independent dance theatre company located on Wadawurrung Country in Djilang/Geelong, Australia. With over 13 years of experience, we are dedicated to creating immersive and participatory experiences through a collaborative and inclusive approach for both screen and live audiences.

At Blink Dance Theatre, we specialize in creating live performances, screen works, sound play, text, and movement in site-specific locations. Our focus is on making devised collaborative performances, working with cross-disciplinary artists to bring unique and captivating experiences to our audiences. We also take pride in offering skills-based opportunities and programs for the local community, fostering a sense of creativity and expression.

One of our notable works is the dance film "Memory House," which takes you on a spiraling journey through time and memory. This powerful piece explores the Jungian archetype of the house as a metaphor for self, as one woman looks back on her past to recreate her future.

Another remarkable production is our visceral dance theatre work inspired by the life of iconic writer Anais Nin. This piece delves into notions of female identity and the profound influence of literature on our lives. It is a celebration of the written word and its ability to shape and be shaped by our experiences.
