Welcome to Tangara School, a unique institution located in the beautiful Southern Highlands of Australia. Established in 1972, Tangara School is a point of interest and a school that caters to students from the local area who present with multiple complex disabilities.

As a NSW public school, we are excited to announce that we will be receiving our School Budget Allocation Report for 2019 this week. This report will help us plan and allocate resources to create the best possible learning experience for our students.

Education Week celebrations were recently launched by the Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, and we are proud to be a part of this exciting event. It is a time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of our students, staff, and the wider community.

In line with the changing times, Tangara School has introduced a new uniform policy for NSW public schools. We are pleased to announce that for the first time, girls have the option to wear shorts as part of their uniform. This change reflects our commitment to promoting equality and ensuring that all students feel comfortable and confident in their school attire.

We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land on which Tangara School is located. We recognize the importance of honoring and learning from the rich cultural heritage of our Indigenous communities, both past and present.
