"Warning-Placed an online order in April. In July emailed to follow Up And a rude man responded claiming it wasn’t due to be delivered until September! He claimed it was on the online order when I disputed never being informed of this on the order at all and it actually stated a reasonably quick delivery date within the month. Total disrespect for customers-they take your money and choose to deliver your product 5mths later-major warning scam alert on their online store!"
"We recently purchased some furniture from Early Settler in Geelong and the staff were all friendly and helpful. They provide a table for colouring in which made shopping with the kids easier. Ordered items were available to pick up from the store within a week. Special mention to Jenny who was exceptionally helpful and professional! Would highly recommend shopping here."

"Well presented store with lovely looking couches but the comfort level leaves alot to be desired. Staff member Leanne S was helpful and quick to take my smaller items to the counter so I didn't need to carry around whilst browsing. Once I'd made my purchases she insisted on helping me get them out the non-automatic door and carried my items right to the car boot. I bought some baskets in multiple sizes and knew I'd be returning 2. When I returned with the unwanted items I was served by Clinton S who again was at the top of customer service and he treated me like I was no trouble and exceptionally pleasant and genuinely nice throughout. I went on to buy another couple of things - changing my mind at times and Tessa K who was helping me was gracious and patient throughout. I have had a very pleasant shopping experience in this store at all times. I would choose to come back to this store - even though it's quite a distance from my home, and I pass many homewares/furniture stores on the way - simply because the staff are enthusiastic and customer focused. A credit to the Early Settler staff selection/training process."
