Reviews
"I could not fault the staff in how they pastorally care for my child in high school at St. Peters. He is known and supported, and even staff who do not directly teach my son, can speak to me about who he is as an individual. I also appreciate the quality of the sport programs on offer. His skill level has improved, along with his enthusiasm to try the many sports on offer."
"EDIT: Six months after removing my daughter from this school and the girls responsible are STILL bullying other kids. Bullying is rife, the school pretends it isn’t happening and do nothing. My child was a happy and confident child before she started at this school and is now suffering from depression and anxiety. The girls involved were never punished, my daughter was physically threatened on a daily basis and more so via social media, the parents were never contacted about their behaviour. Despite my numerous emails, phone calls and meetings nothing was ever done to stop this heinous behaviour. The principal struggles with honesty and effective discipline, the extremely high turnover of staff and students demonstrates how ineffective she is as a leader. The school facilities are akin to a substandard state school, all sports are conducted on the Indooroopilly campus, and the classrooms are extremely basic. Do your homework before even contemplating this school."
"The amount you pay for the facilities and education is a total scam if your willing to send your children here you might as well pay an extra $500 for Marist Ashgrove or Ipswich Girls Grammar. SCHOOL IS A SCAM! DO NOT DO IT!"
"We do not recommend this school to anyone. It has a long way to go to becoming a safe space for your child to learn. Our son and daughter only started to excel as soon as we removed them from St Peter’s Lutheran Springfield and sent them to Ambrose Treacy College and St Aidens respectively."
"This school is alright to say the least. It's definitely not worth the money you're paying though. They're completely focused on the appearance of its students instead of the teaching quality. The main building curnow house is state school level, and the rest of the buildings are cheap modular state school quality. The only nice building is the new junior high precinct, which is a brilliant learning environment. Since the new principal took over, the school has become focused on appearance to the outside, completely ignoring what's going on in the actual interior. The teaching staff, students and quality of learning has deteriorated by at least 50% in the past 3-4 years. A positive is that the primary school is absolutely perfect, just not secondary. They're trying too hard to make all of their students and staff look perfect to the outside world to get as much money as they can. A money-hungry environment which are completely focused on appearance instead of their learning environment."
