"My husband and I went to this restaurant when we were on a small trip in Wollongong. The waitresses were friendly, however the burgers were terrible. They were super dry (had no sauce/ketchup/whatever), there was just a plain beef patty with a massive lettuce in both the burgers…we weren’t pleased with the food."
"Come here almost every morning during the weekdays. Staff are so lovely and friendly and the service is great. If you're after a filling but delicious breakfast then I would recommend the bacon and egg roll (with the lot). It has so much in it for only around $10 and it keeps you going until after lunch. Always left delighted after visiting"
"Ordered our food and was told 20-25 minute wait. It was about 12:23 so that was ok as The Little Mermaid wasn't starting till 1:30. Our drinks arrived after about 15 minutes but the two separate drinks ordered for the kids came as one - banana/strawberry instead of two separate drinks. Time ticked by and finally about 1:15 the bowl of chips (shared by the kids) and my daughters fish and chips arrived. No food for me - a toasted sandwich with chicken, cheese, onion and sundried tomato and chips. We had to ask a waitress who checked and said it was being put in the toaster. It arrived ten minutes before show time so of course I had to wolf it down. Not impressed with the sandwich or chips (they were the dregs from the basket). The waitressing staff were very good and apologised. Next time we are in for a performance we will go elsewhere."
"Interval at the ballet at the Ipac. Came out to order a coffee and dessert. The lady who served us on the checkout was rude, unhelpful and abrupt when we asked her simple questions about desserts and where the cutlery was. The coffee, tea and hot chocolate were delicious. Cakes also were lovely. 5 stars for the food and drink but service gets 1 star if that!!!!!!!"
"Well paid for and ordered Social burger, advertised with Beetroot, tomato, and burger pattie. What did I get, a bun, piece of cheese, little bit lettuce and tomato sauce. When I spoke to management they did not care. I never object to laying but between the two groups we paid over $100. Never buy again plenty of other Cafes Close. Thanks for the bad experience."
