"Bad news. Daughter had to get her car inspected. Needed to get new tyre and rear middle brake light bulb replaced. cost of inspection . $180.00. Daughter took car back, car was looked at, as could see new tyres on it, and. See brake light worked. Not even 5 minutes ,Yet charged another $80.00. When queried was told paying for his experience. Told by other mechanics that I asked after this, that unless car has to be put up on hoist the second time,. No Charge. Highly recommend people go to else where."

"I bought my Mitsubishi 380 (Series 1) 'off lease' on the big island and had it converted to 'factory gas' immediately. Within two years I found that it jerked when a very light throttle was applied or when running on cruise control. Also, the 'Engine Management' warning light would often be illuminated. I have seen numerous dealers and independent mechanic shops (more than five) before going to Coventry Mechanical. I have been told that "your head does not have the 'dot' on it and therefore shouldn't be run on LPG". I've had the jets cleaned (a couple of times). I've done 'Italian tune-ups'. I've run it on petrol when going up hills. I've run one tank of petrol to one of gas. I've been told that they don't know what the 'error code' means, and this was at Mitsubishi dealers! I can't believe that the issue Will at Coventry Mechanical found could have been fixed under WARRANTY! The coils (6 of) of the first series are just not up to making the gas spark properly. I have had no problem with the car since Will found that two of the coils were seriously under performing and replaced them all (cheaper than getting into the back of the engine more than once). Three months later and the car is still running 'sweeter' than the day I bought it. I can not recommend Will at Coventry Mechanical highly enough. PS He also found that the 'LPG expansion' box needed replacement - it was 15 years old!"
"I was referred to Coventry Mechanical from another reputable automotive business as, I was looking for a good LPG licensed Inspection station in Tasmania. The process from booking to drop off and pick up of vehicle was easy, very pleasant and straight forward. The 10 year LPG check, cold start resolution and engine tuning work that was performed on my vehicle was 'awesome' of the highest quality and standard, The vehicle had never run as good in the 3+ years I have owned it. The vehicle feels a lot smoother on idle with much more power throughout its rev range which is great for a 30+ year old 6cyl on straight LPG. The pricing for all the work was very fair and reasonable in my opinion but, what stands out for me the most is Rachael and Will's desire and passion to help and serve their customers, I am so very impressed that when my partner's 2019 vehicle is up for its logbook service it will be going to Coventry Mechanical. Great job Rachael, Will and the team as I will be definitely be recommending your Business to Friends, Family and Associates."
