"My dear husband and I dined at Taj Palace last night, and I would sum up the food as exceptional. The food was cooked to perfection. The spices are fresh and aromatic. It has been a family restaurant since 2005; husband runs the front restaurant and wife is the head cook in the back. They both work so hard. As you dine, you will see family and food intertwine. Their kids are young so you will hear them around the restaurant. But that just adds to the experience. Life is beautiful, and you will see it when you come to this special restaurant. Enjoy!"
"If you want to try the authentic North Indian taste, then I would recommend that Taj Palace is the best option in North Hobart and the neighbourhood. The mixed vegetables, Chicken karahi and naan were really yummy and well cooked. Finally, tried their Lamb Biryani which is fully loaded with rice and meat and taste just awesome. The hospitality of an Indian uncle will make you feel that you are somewhere in India."
