Reviews
"The staff were great, accommodating three walk-ins quickly with a table that had a lovely view over the bay (after we requested to be moved from the originally suggested table in the middle that felt like a tacky and loud bowling alley). Unfortunately the food was really disappointing. Most of the dishes we ordered really lacked any flavour, let alone any ‘Asian-fusion’ vibe. We had to send the fried cauliflower back because it was raw on the inside and the batter/coating was weirdly powdery - it also lacked flavour. The staff were great about this, but Wah Wah Gee was definitely a disappointment in terms of all food dishes… perhaps with the exception of the spring rolls, white rice and the roti which were fine (not great, but fine), but you’d hope dishes this basic would be! We only ate about half of what we ordered because it just simply wasn’t worth the calories. Would not recommend Wah Wah Gee based on the really average and overpriced food."
"A friendly staff generously, immediately changed my daughter's plate right after she complained about sheordered without sauce. Each aproach of them was so kind even during peak time. All food presentations are beatiful. Variety of food from Asian to western dishes. Highly recommend for all age."
"Service was friendly and excellent. Atmosphere was great for a sunny day. Food was overpriced and we suspect precooked and reheated. See image of 4 dumplings for $18"
"Food was decent, fish and chips were of good quality and crispy. The pork baos were flavourful and cooked well. atmosphere was alright since we were walk ins and therefore not allowed to sit inside with the nice decor and view and instead shown to the walk-in area where it was not as nice. I would say it would be a fine place to sit but it was a rainy day so not great. So best to book ahead."
"This place has a strong atmosphere, amazing view and casual relaxed vibe. The service was great and everything was delivered really promptly. The entrees were really good; heaps of flavour, fresh and got the meal off to a great start. The mains were a little underwhelming - missing a bit of flavour and tasted a little bit generic / bland. Prices are reasonable and portions were well sized. Come for the view, atmosphere and enjoy the appetisers!"
