"Best place for Japanese. The owners are so lovely and welcoming! Fresh ingredients, great value, tasty rolls. The potato dish has a delicious sauce. Always enjoy going here!"
"Meet the Bento special, rich clear soup with thick udon noodles and a sliver of green, tasty flash fried tofu in a sticky sauce, seaweed salad, slithers of green shallot pancake, and rice. Enjoy your bento with a crisp green tea and you have an enjoyable lunch. Oh and you also have inari and two sushi pieces. Yum."
"One of the best places to eat in Wollongong guaranteed! Japanese Bento House is located just across the street from Gelatissimo - unassuming at first, the couple who run the small store are very friendly and the food is delicious. It is one of the only places in Wollongong that I have eaten and come back time and time again. If you dine in, you get appetisers that are very addictive - potato and vegetarian pancake. All my friends are obsessed with this casual dining space, although it is small for a group larger than 6 people, Bento House has a variety of options for any picky eater. The sushi here is also very good. I got the Kimchi Hotpot with Rice, and it is just the right amount of spicy and sweet, and the thinly sliced pork is delicious. I highly recommended trying the Stir Fry Noodles, Bibimbap and Chicken Katsu Curry or Chicken Katsu Don here. We will be back for sure!"
"Oh so good! Tasty, authentic Korean and Japanese food. Great service"
"Literally the best sushi I've ever had in Australia that doesn't cost a million bucks! In saying that, they have put their prices up since pre-covid. So they're not exactly cheap anymore. But as a once a week treat, why not?"
