About the Business
Welcome to Castle Personnel, an establishment and point of interest located at Mayfield, Maitland Road, 242 in Australia. At Castle, we understand the challenges that individuals with disabilities face, as nearly half of our staff live with disabilities themselves. Whether you are dealing with a mental illness, injury, or disability, whether it is temporary or permanent, we are here to support you in finding a job or living more independently.
We believe in creating opportunities for everyone to be truly seen, supported, and valued. We understand that mental health conditions can impact our ability to function and be productive in the workplace. However, even if you are limited in what you can do, there may still be alternative capacities in which you can work. If you have an injury, you may require extra assistance in finding a suitable job or support in staying in your current job. We recognize that every person's needs are unique, and we are committed to supporting you on your journey to finding or maintaining a job that is right for you.
For those who are finishing school and transitioning into the workplace, this can be an exciting yet challenging time. We are here to help you navigate through these changes and provide the necessary support. By choosing Castle Personnel, you can also bring diversity to your organization, as well as boost morale by welcoming quality candidates from the disability community.
At Castle, we believe in embracing your otherness. This is a space where we engage in both casual and in-depth conversations with members of the disability community, leaders, and activists. We discuss topics such as disability identity, culture, work, and rights, aiming to challenge people's perceptions and raise awareness about marginalized identities.
We also provide resources such as Lynne's journey to employment while living with chronic pain, offering inspiration and guidance for individuals facing similar challenges. Additionally, we offer a podcast, Episode 10: Supporting people in crisis, mental health, and suicide support, where we delve into important topics and provide valuable insights.
If you have any inquiries or would like to learn more about our services, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. One of our friendly staff members will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for considering Castle Personnel as your partner in finding employment or supporting independence.

"Please don’t send anyone here.. OMG.. Clients and staff wow talking and back biting both parties together. No respect. Staff cleanly don’t authority whatsoever.. inappropriate language from both sides. They need more structure and staff need to get clients to be way more active in the community and not glued TV or devices. Was goin to possibly send someone there. Mentally unstable and toxicity issues STAY CLEAR"
"I encourage people to contact Amanda Rishworth MP: Minister for Social Services I also encourage people to contact Department of workplace relations I have already done so in relation to another matter hopefully that will get this office & its staff worked out"
"I would never recommend Castle Personnel to anyone anymore. Had a conversation with the rudest worker there. Only called as I needed info on my son for NDIS purposes and got told he wasn't going to look for it."
"DONT GO HERE. repetitive and unstructured sessions. would not recommend. Clients swearing at Each Other and workers. Clients don’t respect each other or anyone and back stabbing constantly They start conflict and unhealthy rumours about clients and staff. When brought to attention nothing happens no consequences or anything. Environment of the place is TOXIC So Avoid for mental health reasons"
"This company perpetuates systemic abuse. My ‘consultant’ called me a troublemaker and told me i’d never work in the city again - for the crime of reporting a business at which they’d placed me for a trial to the Food Authority. That same person also openly said they were only interested in putting me in “any old job” regardless of skills and experience, and was intentionally withholding the “good jobs” from me for a year until i’d “proven myself”. She also threatened to have my payments stopped if I didn’t play ball. I was not fresh out of school, I didn’t come down in the last shower - she was out to humiliate me. It’s been years but I see nothing has changed at this place."
