One of the unique aspects of our service is that you can refer yourself without the need for a formal referral body. We understand that seeking help can be challenging, and we aim to make the process as accessible as possible. You also do not need to provide a formal diagnosis for the person you are helping. Our priority is to offer support and guidance to anyone in need.

In addition to our mental health carer support, Samaritans offers Therapy and Behaviour Support in Newcastle, the Hunter, and Central Coast regions. Our team consists of skilled professionals, including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and behaviour support specialists, ready to work with you on your journey to improved well-being.
