"Went on a weekday with the toddler grandkids so it would be a bit quieter. What an amazing park for all ages."
"Gorgeous park with a fantastic playground! I've given a more detailed review of the playground in the listing for the playground specifically. Public toilets, ferry terminal, little cafe, smoke parking and heaps of green space."
"We go there for lunch and walks with our dog, nice breeze near the water. Great watching ships come into port. The council has just planted more Norfolk Pines there so will be more shade in future."
"Great family spot. Interesting play equipment and fun sand play. Good skate park accessible to little ones. Toilet and cafe nearby, easy parking. Also easy access to the ferry for a short ride across to Newcastle City and connect with the light rail for a full day out."
