As a registered professional counsellor, I am dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families. I am a registered member with the Australian Counselling Association and hold a Bachelor of Health, Ageing, and Community Services, as well as Counselling Qualifications.

In my counselling sessions, I incorporate therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. However, my special interest lies in relationship and couples counselling. I am proud to hold qualifications in Gottman Level 1 & 2, the Gottman Method for Specializing in Trauma and Infidelity, and I am also a Seven Principles Program Leader. Through these approaches, I have helped numerous couples achieve effective communication and conflict resolution.

I am passionate about helping people make positive changes and gain control of their lives. My sessions are supportive and practical, aimed at helping clients discover their strengths and achieve personal and professional goals.

At Counselling at Shine, we offer individual sessions for adults, children, and adolescents, as well as NDIS participants dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and life challenges. These sessions can be conducted face to face, over the phone, or via Zoom. We also offer after-hours and Saturday appointments to accommodate busy schedules.

For couples seeking assistance, I use the Gottman Method for couples counselling. This approach helps couples break through and resolve conflicts, increase respect, and foster closeness. Whether you prefer face-to-face, online, or after-hours sessions, we have options available to suit your needs.

Additionally, we offer a two-hour relationship coaching session, perfect for couples who are about to marry, move in together, or are just starting out. This session can also benefit single individuals who want to ensure their next relationship is the best one.

To ensure your privacy and security, our sessions can be conducted face to face, over the phone, or via online video conferencing using a secure platform. We also offer after-hours and Saturday sessions to serve the Charlestown Newcastle area.
