"Really great place to go as a large group (or small) You receive great portion sizes and the food is brilliant. Highl6 recommend the sweet and soy chicken (massive portion) Service is good and although pricey, it's worth a treat."
"It's great having a korean bbq on the Central Coast. The service was great and food came out very fast. Dishes were explained to us as well. It was just 2 of us dining. Our BBQ plate got changed with a,oreheated plate as soon as it started to charcoal. Would come back again."
"Hanok is okay but misses the mark in many areas. Dining area is clean and organised, and the selection of Wagyu is pretty nice. There's also some nice surprises with the free side dishes like the marinated crab. However it's overpriced for what you get. The staff are new and inexperienced, they need a more senior dining room coordinator to train and make the customer service better. Also aside from the meat, there are quite a few staple dishes on the menu that are lacking. - Seafood pancake is overstuffed with pancake mix and cheap seafood marinara mix, likely frozen mix. - Cold beef noodle comes with non traditional wheat noodles, not the chewy and refreshing naengmyeon noodles that makes the dish. - The rice is cheap and poorly cooked. Came out dry and glunky in parts. - Bland and simple dipping sauces, unlike other Korean restaurants on the central coast Might be worth visiting in a year or so when the customer service and food quality settles down with time/experience. For now, there are superior and better value Korean restaurants on the coast. E.g. Mapo Galbi in Gosford, or even BBQ Korea"
"Food was not bad, service was okay every now and then ,someone checking us if we are okay. The place was a bit packed I mean I think need big space for korean barbecue like this would be better. The platter we got I was not that impressed for 269 dollars it's over pricing."
"We dined upstairs with a party of 8. We had a reservation so went straight in. Our server was lovely and was very attentive. She handled 1 of our parties food allergies so well and made sure the chef and kitchen were well aware. We ordered a lot of different dishes including soups,dumplings,kimchi pancakes and a big selection of meats....but the winner hands down was the fried chicken!!Wow wow wow it was delicious. Lots of sides were also added to the table.Overall we had a great experience here and would definitely go again....we really enjoyed it."
