Our team is led by Nicky, who has more than 25 years of experience in the early learning industry. With a diverse background in various roles, Nicky brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to STEP4. Currently serving as the Managing Director of a group of community-based preschools in NSW, Nicky has recently project-managed the construction, fitout, and opening of a new preschool. It was through this process that she partnered with STEP4 for the fitout, further solidifying our commitment to excellence.

Nicky's passion for indigenous history and education stems from her time living in a remote part of the Kimberley in Western Australia during her teenage years. She has dedicated herself to helping educators and directors understand the importance of incorporating indigenous perspectives into their teaching practices. Recently completing a Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Education, Nicky continues to expand her own understanding and supports educators at all levels in reflecting on and extending their knowledge.

Prue, another valuable member of our team, started her career as an early childhood educator before progressing to a center director's role and later becoming an area manager. With almost 4 years of experience working with STEP4, Prue brings her industry knowledge and design concepts to new center startups. She is passionate about enabling the vision of service owners, managers, and educators, and loves working collaboratively to create engaging and bespoke learning environments.
