Giselle Naidu, a registered psychologist with over 20 years of experience, established Courageous Steps Psychology in 2017. She holds a Masters in Social Sciences (Psychology) Degree from the University of Natal in Durban, South Africa, and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

At Courageous Steps Psychology, we understand that embarking on a journey of healing requires immense courage, as it involves sharing your deepest and most painful stories with another person. We honor and respect the difficulty of this process and strive to create a safe, clear, and respectful environment for you to explore your path towards well-being.

We believe in the importance of finding the right fit when it comes to your mental health treatment. That's why we offer initial sessions where you can discuss your goals and aspirations, allowing us to tailor our skills and experience to best assist you in moving forward on your unique journey.

Our aim is to provide the steppingstones you need to guide your process of healing and growth. Giselle is available for appointments on Mondays and Fridays in Maitland, and Medicare rebates are available for our psychological services.

If you have an NDIS plan, you can utilize your funds to see a psychologist at Courageous Steps Psychology. Giselle contracts for and takes referrals from The Feeling and Healing Hub, ensuring that NDIS-funded treatment is accessible to our clients.
