Welcome to Spirit Taekwondo Newcastle! Located at Boolaroo, Edge Street, 3, our institution is not your average martial arts school. We believe in going beyond the physical aspects of Taekwondo and focusing on the growth of mind, body, and spirit.
Our vision is to inspire individuals to reach their full potential and become peaceful warriors - Jung Shin. We understand that the world doesn't need more kick or punch, so we have designed a training curriculum that emphasizes character development alongside martial skills.
Through our unique teaching methods, we instill values and principles in our students while simultaneously developing their physical abilities. Our goal is to produce individuals who will apply these lessons in their everyday lives, whether at home, on the playground, in the workplace, or in the community. We believe in taking martial values out of the training hall (Dojang) and into the world.
At Spirit Taekwondo, we are constantly evolving and adapting to the future while staying rooted in our traditional teachings. Our creativity and innovation set new standards in Taekwondo schooling and martial pedagogy. We provide a friendly and nurturing training environment with strong family and team values.
Our Little Warriors and Warriors training programs are designed to cultivate character and values in addition to martial skills. We believe that this is a crucial time in the development of young men and women, and it should be filled with challenges and excitement.
For those looking for something different, we also offer Kumdo training, where you can bring your body, mind, and spirit together through the practice of the sword.
