"Very friendly staff and thanks Jemma in the CT Scan for making people feel welcome and helpful with the procedure all credit to you"
"I've been a patient at the Belmont In focus practice for a number of years, the standard of patient care and indeed attention to detail is truly amazing in this age of just being a number. From the moment you are greeted by friendly reception staff to time you leave you know and feel your in excellent professional hands. Yesterday's visit was no exception I was booked in for A bone density scan , which was preformed by staff member Gemma, she carefully explained what the procedure intailed talked me through the whole process, she has wonderful skills in dealing with patients and a great way of not only doing her job but making you feel like a real person and for me being 71 years old that's so important and not feeling invisible. Thanks again Gemma and the team at In focus Belmont Best Regards Richard Jones."
"Lovely friendly respectful staff. Do not have to wait long. Very accommodating to elderly. The staff were especially sweet caring towards my elderly mother."
"Took my daughter for a foot x-ray and for a possible fractue, after visiting her GP. But because she had been away 1 1/2 weeks ago, (not to China) she was denied by the receptionist that made it LOUD AND CLEAR to everyone in waiting room that she had travelled!! Very embarrassing!! Meanwhile everyone in waiting room was coughing, we were glad to leave. Belmont medical imagine (across the road) had no problems what so ever in doing it for her. They just put a mask on her."
"Foreword: I attempted to email the organisation first, however their website would not send any emails. So I'll leave my message to them here. I attended the practice today at Belmont to get a injection in my left hip (cortisone for bursitis). Upon arrival I gave my referral and details and was given a consent form to read and sign. I noted on the consent form all my allergies, and also noted the procedure I was getting and read (from the consent form) what would be done during the procedure. The form noted a 'local anesthetic' would be administered, as my doctor told me, along with the receptionist when I booked the appointment. When my name was called, I was taken into a room (by a Jessica) and prepped for the injection. I then awaited the doctor. When the doctor arrived he walked straight over to the desk, grabbed the needle, no hello or greeting or even an acknowledgement of my existence within the room. He came over and started rubbing gel over my left hip. And I started asking a few questions, including a question about receiving a local anesthetic (as i had signed for & was noted on the form). He told me he wasn't going to give a local anesthetic as, in his opinion "there was no point" and it just meant "I would have two needles and would have to wait". Totally blindsided, he then proceeded to jam the needle into my hip, sure a minor pinch as he had previously warned. What he failed to mention next was the extreme pain and shock that would occur as a result of the injection being given at such velocity into my bursa. Pain that left me literally screaming and crying in pain and wishing I wasn't lied to and blindsided into not being given any local anesthetic (which I had signed the consent form to receive and up until he put the needle in telling me "it has some anesthetic in with the cortisone, you'll be ok"). Anyone who was in the room today 5/12/19 at around 10:55am, would have heard me screaming in pain. Much of it is a blur as I started having mild shock and a panic attack/hyperventilation, my mother ran into the room at some point and was with me as I started to recover. Upon 'coming around' through the initial shock and pain my body had just experienced, It was brought to my attention, Jessica the assistant was laughing through the pain and shock the procedure had caused. My mother address it with her saying "I find it extremely distressing that you're laughing at my daughter who's in extreme pain, i'd prefer if you'd leave if you're just going to laugh". She refused to leave and continued to snicker and laugh at my pain. How sadistic of her! Fast forward to now and my body is still recovering from the shock and trauma your staff members put me through at your practice. Additionally, I've a doctors appointment to check the injection site for any damage and treat my shock and trauma that has resulted from the abhorrent treatment I've received. I've been unable to walk or bare weight on my hip since limping my way to the car. I'll be leaving a very poor review of my treatment and time at this clinic, following up with my doctor and hospital if needed and getting some legal advice over this matter as I'm left in utter shock and a state of trauma after attending here."
