"We ate at Meat @ SJH and the meal was good. Lots of options. The steaks were good. We sat outside and atmosphere was nice."
"The restaurant is very comfortable with nice soft padded and covered seating. It is at the back of the hotel so not too noisy and it also has a lovely log gas fireplace. The menu has a good variety to choose from. I had the lovely barramundi 'fish and chips" and my husband had a good size quality steak with his favourite pepper sauce. For dessert we had a very yummy baked cheesecake which was a nice surprise as it had a delicious berry toping which wasn't mentioned on the menu and it didn't have that dry tasting texture like most baked cheesecake's have; so it turned out to be one of the yummiest baked cheesecakes we'd ever had! If it's on the menu you'll want to order it!"
"Dropped in looking forward to a good steak. It was a nice steak. Tasty and good just right. However the watery undercooked vegetables and sauce selected were a let down and were more suited to a meal worth half of what I paid. My dining companion was looking forward to a Guinness but none were available. Staff brilliant and facilities very nice. Would go back with a different meal choice."

Their function rooms are affordable for your special events and the staff are friendly and fast. Definitely give this place a try when you are in the area. 10/10"
"For a rather expensive steak by any measure, I'd expect it to be cooked as requested and served looking far better than a general $25 pub rump. Having a 400gm eye fillet on the bone was what I ordered and was nice, but unfortunately I've had far better for the same price and had to send a $60 striploin back as it was very overdone. Again, I'vehad better pub rumps that are as impressive, without hurting the hip pocket for double. The bar service was great and the kids area and courtyard was perfect for the occasion. Maybe it was the chefs on the day, but think 4 out of 5 is fair."
