"Be here a few times before and food was always good. This time the food was terrible. Both of us left 1/2 a meal each it just wasn't enjoyable. Hopefully it improves and this was a one off"

"We arrived for Lunch at 12.40pm we Didn’t order lunch specials as my daughter and I thought we would treat ourselves to two nice steaks! One with Veg and one with Salad. So $72.00 and 40 minutes later our Meals came out and I must say Coming from a family of Chefs we aren’t upperty critics as we know how hard a good chef works! But Wow Iron Horse Inn our meals were very Sub Standard to say the least!.. First thing I noticed was My Mash potato was a strange colour not white and fluffy as mash should be.. It was very dry and crumbly and tasted like it was left overs from the night before’s service!.. The Cauliflower and Broccoli weren't much better and the corn had a sourness to it that was enough for me to leave aside! The “packet”creamy Creamy Garlic sauce I had for my steak was a disappoint but at least it softened the tough dry steak! Medium to well and not very Well done does make a difference! Did we say anything? No…We didn’t have the time anyway to wait another 40 minutes for a replacement..And we weren’t looking for a refund either… We just wanted to sit and have a nice lunch together and catch up! We should have known something wasn’t quite right because the place was empty and it was the Middle of what should be a busy Friday lunchtime. I hope the Chef finds His/Her passion for food again as it’s clear they don’t have much pride in their meals! Even if it’s it’s just good old Pub Grub,because this was borderline appalling and I would have been embarrassed to let those meals leave the kitchen!.."

"Went there yesterday for lunch . Arrived at 12.30 . Ordered straight away never got our meal until 1.25. They either forgot to send our order to kitchen or not organised. Other patrons came in after us and got their meal within 10/15 minutes. They were not busy . The chicken Snitzel crust was hard and unchewable . Not good enough to expect patrons to wait for their meal for that long especially when they were not busy. Very disappointing."

"Me and my friends call around 8.20pm and try to take advanced order but person who attend the call did not took the order and ask come in pub and order. We reached around 9.45 coz we were traveling long way. After we reached to the pub chefs were almost done closing. Then we ask to Zee can we still take orders, she said yes but she was not happy, actually rude. We apologise many times that we are late she didn’t reply a word. Unfortunately not with us but she was really rude to someone else in pub. Food was 3 out of 5 but zee was really rude and annoying. As a customer we deserve smile service I guess. Other bar staff was nice he offered us water. Thanks to chef who stayed until late."

"Nice atmosphere and the meals were a decent size. Great value for money. I visited the Iron Horse on a weekday and the food came out fairly quickly considering the amount of people here. The staff were also nice and friendly. Keep up the great work!"
