Wallsend Executive Apartments 25 Thomas Street, Wallsend, New South Wales 2287

"We usually stay at Charlestown Executive Apartments but they were booked out this time around due to school holidays. So we decided to branch out to Wallsend Executive Apartments which seem to be run by the same company. The place was spacious enough for the 3 of us, good services such as kitchen utensils as well as washing machine and dryer. 3 toilets, 1 downstairs and 2 upstairs. Each room had their own ensuite which was a nice touch as we often fight over who gets the ensuite. The courtyard was nice to sit in and have our breakfast each morning in the sun. The carpets and rug need a good steam clean. Fairly dirty and a bit sticky to walk on. The driveway is a tight squeeze as others have mentioned. Especially with the hedge and bins in the way. I wouldn’t want to have a car bigger than an SUV. The location overall was okay, not as good as Charlestown, considering this was on a busy road. We had a fair bit of road noise, we often left the windows open during the day then closed them up at night. We were lucky as we were somewhat in the middle of the apartments. I’d hate to be in the 1st apartment at the very front. Overall, we had a good stay. It’s a good second option if you can’t get into Charlestown. Just have to travel a bit further for shops, and a little noisier."

"Had a one night stay in unit one at the front, would stay again. Very clean, minus the rug in the lounge room which needs a good carpet clean. Loved the outside space, great for my little one to crawl around. As per some other reviews, yes there is some road noise as it is located on a busy main road. But this didn't disrupt mine, my mothers nor my 1 year olds sleep at all. Beds were very comfy. All the amenities you would need for a long stay. Parking is tight, but with a bit of guidance in and out I was fine in my Rav4."

"Nice, spacious serviced apartment for a small family. The apartment is well cleaned and appointed. It has all the amenities needed to prepare your own meals, a nice backyard, and free internet. Parking is a little tight, especially if you have a larger ute or SUV. Overall, great value for your money."

"Lovely and clean. Comfortable beds. Excellent showers. Modern facilities. Only 2 downfalls were - very hard to park a large car in the garage and traffic kept me awake on and off during the night."
