Reviews
"You can get pizza pretty much anywhere, but scattered amongst the many pizza makers are the rare gems, often in small country towns, that you only learn of by chance or word of mouth, and which over time may become legendary. Eureka Pizza is one of them. I discovered it by chance and keep going back when passing through Braidwood. An interesting way to understand the quality of their pizzas is to think of everything that's wrong with a Domino pizza then think the exact opposite, which describes well Eureka's. They are wood fired. The base crunches most satisfyingly in your mouth as you take a bite. The ingredients are plentiful and fresh. They are made with love. Service is friendly too. I have one minor criticism only, but not enough to deduct that fifth star from my rating. The pizzas must bake fast in their oven. Unfortunately sometimes the middle of the pizza is not quite baked as much as the outer parts. The inner pizza is sometimes not as hot as the outer pizza. If the owner is reading this perhaps they can make that final tweak in pizza perfection. Put your phone down, stop reading these reviews and go now! Go to Eureka and get that pizza. Seriously, get it now. Ps, I don't always write praiseworthy reviews. I write reviews of my own personal opinion. Some of my reviews are scathing and some are the inverse. Eureka deserves the five star rating I give it."
"Have been eating here for 10 years and have witnessed a steady decline in quality and value. My latest purchase had 1/4 the normal toppings and virtually no cheese on a millimetre-thick base that was overcooked and tasteless."
"Excellent pizza. Asked for some variations to my pizza, which were happily accommodated. Prompt service, particularly being a Saturday night. Was quoted a time it would be ready, and this time was quite accurate. Pleasant staff. The shop itself could do with some more "atmosphere", particularly if eating-in, but this is a minor consideration given I was after a good pizza. Perhaps just a bit pricey, but I've seen worse."
"Really nice pizzas! Had the pepperoni. It was that perfect in between of a bougie pizza Vs a dirty pizza, so it was perfect. The size options were great. And fairly priced. Super nice town and pizza place !"
"Could not identify any roasted tomato on my pizza - cheap sliced olives were abundant though. Overall it was a bland and forgettable experience which I found too expensive for what it was."
