Welcome to Milestones with Music, located in beautiful Mount Barker on Acacia Street. Our institution is a unique blend of an electronics store, establishment, home goods store, point of interest, school, and store all rolled into one.

At Milestones with Music, we specialize in providing exceptional piano lessons for students of all ages, starting from 6 years old and up, regardless of their musical background. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, our experienced instructors will tailor the lessons to suit your individual needs and goals.

No previous musical experience is required to join our program, but it is essential that you have access to a keyboard or piano to practice on. We believe that every student should have the opportunity to play pieces they love, which is why we incorporate a variety of proven teaching methods that allow students to progress at their own pace.

While our focus is on classical music, we also include modern music, rhythms, and theory in our curriculum. This ensures that our students receive a well-rounded musical education that encompasses a wide range of styles and genres.

Our individual piano lessons are held once a week for 30 minutes during the school term. However, if a student is preparing for exams, we may recommend increasing the lesson duration to 45 minutes. We understand that life can sometimes get in the way, which is why we offer make-up lessons if a student is unable to attend a particular day, as long as appropriate notice is given.

Our tuition fees for individual piano lessons are $30 for a 30-minute lesson and $45 for a 45-minute lesson. Fees are charged on a termly basis, depending on the number of weeks in the school term, unless otherwise arranged.

At Milestones with Music, we believe that performance is an integral part of a musician's journey. That's why we offer our students the opportunity to participate in recitals held twice a year, in term one and term three. These recitals not only allow students to showcase their progress but also help them develop their performance skills and be inspired by others' musical talents.
