"I've been taking my car here for 5 years and used to get amazing service from Dave. Since he left and I'm no longer a fleet member, the customer service has gone completely downhill. They seem to be constantly overbooked, they might be ok for a standard servicing if you book 3 weeks ahead but if you ever have car troubles you can expect to be without a car for weeks at a time. I took my car in for the big 105,000km service which was so poorly communicated. Then the check engine light came on the next day. I gave them benefit of the doubt when they said it was purely coincidental and unrelated but seemed to irritate them when I asked any questions. They basically handed me a $1,600 bill, stated a problem and expected payment. After I threatened to go elsewhere they reduced the bill to about $300 so I decided to pay them to fix it. My car was with them for over 2 weeks and they would not give me a courtesy vehicle due to them being booked out plus they couldn't tell me when my car would be fixed. Then when I finally got my car back, the check engine light came on again a week later, exhibiting the exact same issues I previously had. They were so busy that they couldn't find 10 minutes to look at it until 4 days later. I thought that's enough now, so I decided to take my car elsewhere. My new mechanic looked at it the same day and had it fixed the next day before noon (including ordering the part), he explained that it was a very simple common problem and showed me the failed part under the bonnet. I'll obviously not be coming back to Duttons anymore, you can get much better and cheaper service elsewhere and actually get to speak to a mechanic directly rather than some people at a front desk reading notes from a mechanic. They are so busy that they have forgotten that they are a business who exist to serve customers and are not just automatically entitled to your money. I've never actually left a 1 star review before but this place deserves it and I don't want any other young women who aren't car buffs to get duped by these guys, you expect the dealership to provide the best service for the premium price! It was an unnecessarily horrible stressful and expensive set of experiences, if I could give them zero stars for customer service then I would."
