"Fiest time up here with a pram, definitely more limited in terms of options if you're looking for a more gentle walk, but man it's pretty up here. The vegetables amongst the other flowers and shrubs were a surprise, and I loved the art pieces around the gardens. We'll be back again very soon to explore more and take more photos."
"Best places to spend time with family and kids as well. This is one of the best places to visit in Adelaide and the best time to visit during autumn season. Different colours of leaves made the place look like paradise and the scenic views were spectacular. We can get coffee over there but only cash is acceptable."
"Great place to visit even on a cold and rainy day! Beautiful gardens, quiet, peaceful and great flora as well as fauna. Even from the car park we were able to spot some kangaroos. Some great walking trails and grassy areas perfect for picnics. The public toilets are very clean when compared to those at waterfall gully. Paid parking."
"Beautiful & well maintained gardens. Stunning array of native and exotic plants. I was not expecting to pay for parking. It was only $4 for the day and the machine only takes cards. At the time of this review the bottom toilets are being renovated and there are portable toilets instead. The toilets in the upper carpark are regular toilets. Many of the trails are very steep and hilly. I would suggest proper walking shoes and carrying water. There are thankfully benches placed all around if you do need a breather or just want to take it in. I would not tackle some of the walks with young children, or anyone who has mobility issues. There are map boards at the entrance. I would suggest taking a photo of this before you head off. I did not feel there were enough signs at different forks in the trails so I ended up at a few dead ends. I did have to follow along on Google maps at some points to not end up lost. Overall I still had fun. Definitely allow yourself a number of hours to enjoy the park"
"An ideal place to relax, and mingle my soul with plants, flowers, and clouds. The poetic setting here is a berth for hearts connected with nature. Less than 20km from the CBD, Mount Lofty Botanic Garden is suitable for walking, sightseeing, picnicking with family, and friends, or travelling alone. Suitable for visiting all seasons of the year. My favourites are autumn when the leaves change colours and spring when the flowers bloom brilliantly. The parking lot is quite spacious although it can get quite crowded on some holidays. Highly recommended!"
