"Long gone are the days of a grumpy old lady serving very average fish and chips from the Aldgate Fish & Chip Shop. Under new management this place is thriving and offers some of the best chippy-style food in Adelaide. Great atmosphere (including the Street Fighter arcade machine), friendly service and a wonderfully diverse and reasonably priced menu. The food will speak for itself - the hot and spicy chicken burger recommended from the chef was absolutely outstanding. Genuinely on of the best burgers I've had in years. The chips were fresh, well cooked and paired perfectly. Overall, a must visit for anyone passing through and a genuine staple for those lucky enough to live close by."
