The results are then reviewed by a respiratory physician within 24 hours to ensure accurate evaluation and diagnosis.

Please note that before any Lung Function Testing, you will be required to perform a RAT test on-site in front of our respiratory technician. You can either purchase a test from us or bring your own. This additional step is crucial to ensure the accuracy of the results.

We understand the importance of financial transparency. Therefore, a fee estimate will be provided at the time of booking, and all accounts are payable in full on the day of the appointment. Pensioner and health care card concession holders are bulk billed for lung function testing only (consultations are not included). We accept various payment methods, including cash, cheques, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, and DVA Gold Card. Please note that a Medicare rebate applies to all tests except those associated with employment or recreational medicals. Additionally, GST is charged for all pre-employment or recreational tests.

To ensure a smooth process, we recommend arriving approximately 10-15 minutes before your appointment to complete necessary paperwork. It is also essential to bring a referral from your doctor, a valid Medicare card, and any concession cards (pension, health care card, DVA) on the day of your test.

Rest assured that your results will be thoroughly reviewed and reported on by a Respiratory Physician. A copy of your results will be forwarded to your referring doctor within 24 hours of the test. In urgent cases, we can even provide same-day reporting upon request. Please inform our staff at the time of booking if you require urgent attention.
