Welcome to Southern Barossa Community Child Care, located at 200 Lyndoch Valley Road in Lyndoch, Australia. We are a not-for-profit childcare and early learning center dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

At Southern Barossa Community Child Care, we understand the importance of a smooth transition into childcare for families. Our aim is to make this process as easy as possible by offering a range of services and support.

Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the values of the Christian Studies Framework. The EYLF is Australia's first national early years learning framework for early childhood educators. It extends and enriches children's learning from birth to five years and prepares them for the transition to school.

We believe that education begins from birth and that children learn best through play. Our educators create a learning environment where children can take ownership and engage in their own learning. We encourage children to explore, question, research, and build relationships, guided by our dedicated educators.

Nutrition is a top priority at our center. We provide fresh, high-quality, and nutritious meals for all children, including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack. Our fully qualified chef prepares all meals in-house, and we cater to any special dietary requirements.

Family involvement is highly valued at Southern Barossa Community Child Care. We believe that parents are their child's first teacher and view them as partners and co-collaborators in their child's learning journey. We actively seek input from families to gain a comprehensive and holistic view of each child.
