Welcome to Jerrabomberra High School, a leading educational institution located in the beautiful area of Jerrabomberra, Australia. Jerrabomberra High School opened its doors to Years 7 and 8 students on Day 1 of Term 1 in 2023. While we are currently operating from purpose-built temporary facilities located at Jerrabomberra Public School, construction of our new permanent high school is well underway. Once completed, our state-of-the-art campus will have modern facilities designed to accommodate approximately 500 students.

We are excited to announce that the State Significant Development (SSD) application for our new high school has been approved by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (DPE). This approval allows us to continue construction and progress towards our goal of expanding the school to cater for up to 1000 students, with the Stage 2 upgrade set to be lodged in mid-2023.

Stage 1 of our new high school will feature 24 flexible learning spaces, including 3 support learning spaces, all housed in modern facilities. Additionally, we are pleased to share that the Department of Planning and Environment has approved a modification to incorporate a second science laboratory into the project, further enhancing our students' learning experience.

Construction works are currently ongoing and are expected to be completed in late 2023. The permanent high school will also be finished by this time, and the date of its opening will be coordinated with school leadership to ensure minimal disruption to school operations.

At Jerrabomberra High School, we offer a broad range of subjects to students from Years 7 to 12, providing them with a quality education that aligns with the NSW Curriculum requirements. Our focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) ensures that our students develop the necessary skills to thrive in a rapidly changing world and contribute to Australia's future development and prosperity.
