"Had a window clean booked for a Wednesday (over a month in advance) and was called the day before to be advised they had a family emergency and would reschedule to sunday between 8 and 10am. It is Sunday 10:30am and the cleaner has not arrived, I have no way to contact anyone as the office is closed. I have wasted my time sitting around waiting for them and still have no idea if they will turn-up. I would never book with them again absolutely terrible service. Don't waste your time and find a different company that won't constantly cancel, not turn-up and is uncontactable."
"Unfortunately, I cannot write a good review. We had booked a window cleaning service two and a half weeks prior to the service day. We were told that the window cleaner would arrive between 8am and 10am on the day. Whilst we were waiting we had taken all the flyscreens off and moved any furniture, etc that would be in the way in order to make it easier for him. He was a no show. The company did not call us to say that he was unable to come. We had to call to see where he was which was when we found out that he would not be coming at all and that no one else would be coming. I cannot recommend this company unfortunately."
"Ultimate Cleaners now also do roof maintenance work. I did hesitate about using them for this purpose, as they are a cleaning company, but thought I'd support them in the expansion of their business. I regret doing so. Unfortunately I didn't notice until a few weeks after the work was done that one of the 'prongs' of my TV antenna was bent. I emailed the owner, Michael, about it. I said that I understood that accidents happen, but was disappointed that the worker hadn't owned up to it. Michael got on to it promptly on his return from leave. Michael said that the worker denied damaging the antenna. It is a mystery, then, how the antenna was damaged, as no one else had been on the roof. Michael, to his credit, offered to send an employee out to have a look and fix it if they could. I didn't take up Michael's offer, as the antenna installer had told me that any attempt to straighten the prong had to be done very gently, as the element could become loose and would cause pixelation. I was concerned that any attempt to straighten the prong by an untrained person may cause this, so I thought it was best to leave it alone. I had some interference with my TV's reception, but not enough for me to risk making it worse. The best response would have been for Michael to cover the cost of fixing the antenna by the antenna installer, but I can see that from his point of view there is no proof that it was his worker who had damaged the antenna. I wish I had noticed it before, and also that I'd taken a photo of the antenna before the roof work was done. But when you are dealing with a trusted company, you don't think you need to take such measures. However, there was something that was undeniably done by the worker: the mess he left behind at the side of my house. Again, I didn't notice this straight away, as I rarely go to that side of my house. I took photos of the debris and bits of tile left on the ground, and emailed Michael again. Michael did not respond to my email. I had been a very good customer of Ultimate Cleaners: I was very understanding when no one turned up to clean my gutters as booked in in December 2018 (apparently my job was left off the work sheet for the day: but I understood that these things happen, and the work was rescheduled), I was very understanding when the team who cleaned my gutters in November 2019 were very late, and didn't call (I ended up calling the office, to find out what was going on), and I was very understanding when the roof work was moved forward by a day (though it didn't really suit me; I reorganised my schedule to fit in). Needless to say, I won't be using Ultimate Cleaners' services again."
"We required carpets, windows, balcony and mirrors to be cleaned on vacating a rental property. Advised on booking it was an apartment with a balcony however the cleaner when he arrived wasn't prepared for floor to ceiling windows therefore price increased. OK except when we did a check not all windows had been cleaned although we were charged the increase. The balcony clean didn't look any better than the hose and sweep down we had done ourselves. The kitchen sink and bench had been used and left dirty and the toilets had been used with excrement left in the bowl. We cleaned the kitchen before the final inspection but did not think to check the bathrooms. Lodged a complaint and got NO RESPONSE AT ALL. They did however put the full charge through to our credit card. We had to ask three times for a receipt to provide to the Real Estate Agents. Have used Ultimate before at our home for various purposes but will not be utilising in the future at our new property."
"Quality and timely service (carpet steam cleaning at end of lease), however questionable marketing practices soured my experience. Received a brochure in the mail offering 10% discount on services, however was told that this coupon had already expired (tried to use it within days of receiving, no expiration date printed). Customer rep at the time of booking was apologetic, and offered 10% discount at invoice payment (for which I have transcript evidence from online chat). At payment, this 10% was not deducted, and management refused to honour the service reps previous commitment citing they lost money on my job even without the discount (despite having a minimum 2 hours call-out fee?) - Odd."
