Welcome to Throsby School, the newest public school in the ACT. Located in the beautiful suburb of Throsby on Freshwater street, our institution is dedicated to creating a welcoming and innovative learning environment for children, staff, and families alike. As the Foundation Principal, I am privileged to lead this exciting journey.

At Throsby School, we have the unique opportunity to establish a modern Preschool to Year 6 (P-6) institution that fosters a positive culture and dynamic learning environment. Our goal is to provide a safe and happy place for students, staff, and families to thrive and grow.

Central to our approach is the belief that strong connections with self, each other, and the land are essential for our students to reach their social, emotional, and academic potential. We recognize and acknowledge the Ngunnawal people as the traditional custodians of the ACT and respect their continuing culture, as well as the contributions of any other people or families with connections to the lands of the ACT and region.
