Welcome to the South Australian Academy of Music (SAAOM), located in the beautiful town of Stirling, Australia. As an institution with a rich musical heritage, we strive to provide a solid foundation for individuals of all ages to achieve their musical goals.

Established in the proud tradition of Adelaide's prestigious Elder Conservatorium of Music, which dates back to 1883, SAAOM is committed to offering high-quality music education. We are proud to be located in Adelaide, the first and only UNESCO City of Music in Australia, joining the ranks of only 32 cities worldwide.

At SAAOM, we cater to individuals of all ages and abilities, starting from as young as 4 years old, with no age limit for adults. Whether you are a beginner or advanced musician, we have the necessary skills, techniques, knowledge, and facilities to support your musical journey.

Please note that we are gradually phasing out the booking platform on our website due to functionality issues. Therefore, not all courses will be visible for online booking. To register for any of our lessons, please use the New Student Registration form provided.

If you can't find your preferred course or time slot in the online bookings, we encourage you to register via the New Student Registration Page. By providing us with your availability for lessons, we can offer you an optimal time that suits your schedule. Feel free to mention your top three preferences in the comments field before submitting the form.

If you're unsure which lesson type to enroll in or if your preferred day/time is not available through online bookings, please complete the form provided on our website. This will allow us to review and allocate you to an appropriate class or individual lesson time. Additionally, if you prefer a paper form, you can print our Piano Tuition form, fill it in, and email it back to us at [email protected] or drop it off at our office in Stirling. We aim to reply within 2-3 business days, but usually sooner, excluding school holidays.
